CrimeCraft GangWars Expansion set for Dec. 5 Launch

New Trailer Released Today Shows Territory Wars Game Play

NEW YORK, NY, Nov. 18, 2011 – Vogster Online has announced that GangWars, the second major expansion to the free-to-play online shooter CrimeCraft (www.crimecraft.com) will launch on December 5.

Vogster also released a trailer (www.youtu.be/Q5H0qNIFSZ4) today showing off the new Territory Wars feature that pits the player-run gangs of CrimeCraft in combat for control of the lobbies and battle zones of Sunrise City. A new website, www.CCGangWars.com, provides full information on the new features and a new trailer showcasing GangWars.

“We’ve been working with our community to develop end game content that’s relevant for our veteran players and that’s what we’ve created with Territory Wars - it allows gangs to own and control sections of the city,” said Lead Game Designer Alexandr Soloveyko. “In addition, we’ve also streamlined the user experience for new players, with our Quickplay interface which gets them into the action faster than ever.”

CrimeCraft GangWars, is set in the bloody aftermath of the Bleedout Campaign and the destruction of the Scorpion Chamber, the governing body of Sunrise City. Gangs now fight for control of the city.

CrimeCraft GangWars will be available through www.CrimeCraft.com and Steam.

CrimeCraft GangWars features include:

· MMORPG Shooter – CrimeCraft takes the best persistent world RPG features (thousands of other players, loot, guilds/gangs, crafting, trading, missions, skills, PvE and PvP Combat) and combines it with the action and skill based gameplay of a shooter.
· Quickplay – Access CrimeCraft’s core gameplay features through a simplified interface that lets you shortcut RPG gameplay and get right to the action. Players can switch between the streamlined Quickplay experience and the fully featured lobbies with the click of a button.
· Free Updates – Frequent huge free content updates. Previous updates have added: player controlled nightclubs, new maps, new gameplay modes, new weapons, new skills, tournaments (daily, weekly and monthly).
· Fast and Furious Action - CrimeCraft features 20 maps and eleven game modes including Core Annihilation, an epic game mode that blends PvP and PvE combat. Players cooperate with AI controlled soldiers to destroy an opponent’s core while protecting their own.

“We started working on CrimeCraft GangWars soon after the launch of Bleedout,” said Vice President of Development Daniel Prousline. “We are very proud of all the new features, but especially Territory Wars. We can’t wait to see gangs fighting for control of Sunrise City. I am also very excited about Quickplay that makes the game so much more accessible.”

Combat Arms Delivers Operation: Power Surge

Nexon America’s popular online FPS updates with new Specialists class, map and more

Combat Arms, one of North America’s most popular multiplayer online first-person shooter games, delivers its latest update today for its newcomers and the over two million registered soldiers for hire with Operation: Power Surge.

Players will not only get a chance to hire the game’s new Specialists class, but also can also put them to work on the game’s latest map, Power Surge. This industrial pumping station is the game’s latest map and can be played in four different game modes, Elimination, One Man Army, Capture the Flag and Spy Hunt.

Specialists are a new form of mercenary, carefully selected and raised from birth to be the ultimate combination of strength, stealth, brilliance and skill. Two Specialists quickly established themselves as clear leaders of the group since the beginning of their training. Scorpion, named for his ability to survive in any situation, and Viper, named for her quick and fatal attacks, are available for players through the use of in-game GP or Nexon Cash.

Specialists have access to four special items, which are detailed here:

Claymore:
A defensive, anti-personnel land mine utilizing a wireless detonator, the Claymore projects tiny steel fragments in a fan-shaped pattern, devastating enemies with its terrific explosive power.

Satellite Scanner:
A military grade, portable scanner reveals the locations of hidden enemies. Scanned data is transmitted to teammates via satellite, giving fellow soldiers an edge over the enemy!

Medkit:
A military syringe developed by NEMEXIS that is injected directly into the bloodstream. The Medkit restores a set amount of HP. Because of its portability, it can come in handy in the middle of combat situations when it is impossible to call on a medic. The Medkit can only be used for recovering one’s own HP.

M32:
A 40mm semi-automatic, six-barreled weapon with a revolving magazine, this rapid-fire grenade launcher gives increased firepower to foot soldiers.

Soldiers looking for more information can head to http://combatarms.nexon.net for further details on the update.

September 30, 2008 – LOS ANGELES – Nexon America Inc. announces the commercial launch of its free-to-play, online, multiplayer first-person shooter (FPS) thriller Combat Arms slated for October 1st. With the addition of the highly anticipated “Black Market,” the new in-game cash item shop, gamers now have access to new female and male mercenaries, customized items and “fresh start” options to help fulfill missions. New mercenaries, Mei, the first female character, and Deckland, can be hired for 30 days as an added character. Each comes with an allotment of 50,000 Gear Points for players to create their mercenary’s own gear loadout. Players can also opt to use the same weapons for their mercenary as their base character. The game also introduces a revamped melee system with several new melee weapons, such as the Ninjato and the Machete. Gamers will have the option to purchase these new weapons with Nexon Cash. New aesthetic gear such as the FG-1 Fire Mask, Boonie Hat and the Tactical Backpack, will also now be available for purchase.

“Combat Arms had a great beta run, with players of all levels loving the fast-action FPS game play and in-game community features for ranking and challenging other players,” said Min Kim, vice president of marketing for Nexon America. “With this launch, gamers now have access to additional play options that help the player stand out without compromising the fairness of play.”

Players and clans can now also use Nexon Cash to purchase name changes and statistic resets through the Black Market. The reset function allows players who have improved within the game a chance to deliver a more accurate representation of their current skill level without having to restart an account and lose their hard earned rank. Additionally, Clans can further distinguish their squad by creating their own Clan Emblem, which will be permanently displayed to all other players both in-game and on the official Web site.

These are the first items for purchase in the Black Market, but players can expect additional variety in the future. To date, Combat Arms has expanded its free content to feature more than 40 weapons, eight maps, four game modes, and robust character and weapon customization features, and will continue to enhance and upgrade both its free and paid offerings with bi-monthly content updates.
